We really apologize for DEP site inconvenience on June 25, 2011. This was because of long power outage in Houston, Texas; it affected more than 5,000 websites. Our server was one of them also.
The work submitted by the writers is saved and our technical staff is working to tackle such long power failure problem in future.

Payment for this month has been made. Everyone with DEP balance above 1000/- Rs. has been sent his or her payment thru Telenor EasyPaisa. You can go to your nearest EasyPaisa Shop or Telenor Franchise and collect your payment. Passcode is standard 12345. You will need to show the SMS you recieved and your ID card to get your payment.
This month one of our major client defaulted on their payment thus was there a long delay and backlog in provisionally approved articles. We have decided to pay our writers whether we get our payment or not.
so, this month’s payment include payment for your provisionally approved articles and this month’s bonus calculations also include those articles. We have paid a Flat Rs. 25/- per article bonus to all our writers. We appreciate your patience and regret the delay in payment and we ensure no such delay will happen in future.
Due to advance payment of provisionally approved articles, your DEP balances will remain negative until we manage to sell the articles written by you to a third party(we are negotiating with a client as I write these lines).

Team DEP is really sorry for the brief outage of our services from 10:35 pm to 11:50 pm on 10th of may 2011. This was caused by a prolonged power failure at our data center during which our backup power systems also failed.
None of your work has been lost and Our Systems Administrators are working to make sure that such incidents do not effect our online presence in future.

In order to make this business model more sustainable, we have made some changes to our article pricing and bonus awarding policy. We have been working on software implementation of this with our customers and engineers and finally we have rolled it out, yesterday night.
Instead of a fixed price for every article in DEP, We have introduced dynamic pricing of articles. Each article in pool will have a different price based on supply and demand of each topic at any given moment in time. It means that each time you re-load the pool of articles, the prices will be different for each article. Once you pick it up and assign it to yourself. the price at time of pickup will be paid to you.
This step was required to make sure that customer orders are completed on time. (the articles with recent deadlines will automatically be priced higher).
There is a slight change is bonus policy. Instead of fixed bonus amount per article , we have decided that it should be increased as your number of your submissions increase. i.e. 30 submissions in a month will get 10 Rs bonus per article. and 120 submissions will get you 20 Rs bonus per article etc. details will be communicated soon as we update our Website and this blog later this week.
Our writers are our most important asset. They are bloodline of our business. If they are not happy, we can not satisfy our customers in US and Canada with quality articles. Recently , lots of you guys have been complaining to our Customer Service / Chat Operators about delays in approvals and lag in reporting.

This is calculated in realtime by adding the value of your current DEP Balance + Work in Progress + Provisionally Approved Work. This is a amount that you are expected to get at end of month if all your work is completed and approved. (which is not going to happen but this is our best guess…) some part of this earning will be carried forward.. so don’t shout when the figures don’t add up :p

These are articles that you have picked up, you are working on and you have submitted.
What is Provisionally approved?
These are articles that have been approved by DEP editors but we need to get a final word from our customers about their acceptance.

Current Report’s format is inspired by Ms. Sana Khan Rajput’s idea. She was kind enough to take out time to send us her suggestions.

We have noticed that number of rejections due to copied content has increased manifold in recent weeks. Especially new writers are sending content that is copied from various websites.
There are others who are copying content and then making superficial changes using Thesaurus or some other kind of article spinning tool.
Yet there are others who are writing a few original lines and then inserting copied content randomly. All of these articles are being rejected by our editors.
It is wasting your time as well as ours and is the major cause of delay in approval and rejection of articles submitted by genuine writers.We are a legitimate business that sell articles written by you to our partners and customers at very thin margins.
If we let copied content pass to our customers, it might result in cancellation of our orders and the whole organization would crash as we will not have any money to pay to our writers.
Our Editors are paid a fixed salary and the time wasted on rejected articles and their processing is hitting our bottom line. We are not making more than 8 – 10% on each article after the recent increase in rates.
Therefore, we have decided to take strict action against the DEP members found and proven to be involved in repeatedly submitting copied content. These actions include issuing warnings (Phone/SMS/Email). Imposing fines /deductions , Suspension of account for limited period and Complete ban and forfeiture of any earnings accumulated in system.
It is in your best interest and ours to stop plagiarism. You are a writer. Do what you do best. Write! As originally as you can. You will like it
Payments for March, 2011 for your writing work has been dispatched. For current month only, we will be bearing all transaction charges for your payment. This is a one time measure only.
If you wish to avoid transaction charges completely. please get a UBL Whiz Card from your nearest UBL Branch. it is fastest and cheapest way to get money anywhere in Pakistan.
