We Heard Your Voices! New Earning Reports

Our writers are our most important asset. They are bloodline of our business. If they are not happy, we can not satisfy our customers in US and Canada with quality articles. Recently , lots of you guys have been complaining to our Customer Service / Chat Operators about delays in approvals and lag in reporting.

We have finally brought Alpha version of our reports for your dashboard out. As you have already noticed your new home page. We have included following stats.

data entry pakistan writer earning money

New Report's Basic Shape (Click to enlarge)

Estimated Unpaid Earnings

This is calculated in realtime by adding the value of your current DEP Balance + Work in Progress + Provisionally Approved Work. This is a amount that you are expected to get at end of month if all your work is completed and approved. (which is not going to happen but this is our best guess…) some part of this earning will be carried forward.. so don’t shout when the figures don’t add up :p

What is work in Progress?

These are articles that you have picked up, you are working on and you have submitted.

What is Provisionally approved?

These are articles that have been approved by DEP editors but we need to get a final word from our customers about their acceptance.

by the way, these are still work in progress…

Special Thanks to Sana Khan

Current Report’s format is inspired by  Ms. Sana Khan Rajput’s idea. She was kind enough to take out time to send us her suggestions.

As for rest of you, please let us know if you want to add / edit something to your dashboard / reports. we are currently doing development with our Engineers. we would be able to do some changes quickly..

I am waiting to hear from you all.

Common Reasons for Rejection of the Articles

Many times the writers on DEP face the article rejection problem. Its annoying for a writer to get his/her article rejected again and again. One thing is for sure that no article is rejected without any reason. There are various reasons for rejection of an article. The reasons will be described below so that writers can avoid those common mistakes.

The reasons for rejection are:

1. Copy Paste Content

The one of the most common reasons of article rejection for new writers is copy pasting. Every writer must keep that in mind before re-writing any article that copy pasting is strictly prohibited. Whether you get information from any other source for your article, re-write it in your own words, and then include it in your article. But with copied content there is no way that your articles get approved. That’s why avoid copying content from other sources or even from the source article.

2. Common Spell & Grammar Mistakes

The second reason for an article rejection is spell mistakes and grammar mistakes. To avoid the spell mistakes it will be better for writers to write their articles first on MS Word. Usually writers do spell mistakes when they use synonyms such as the use of “then” and “than”. Be careful about spellings while you use such synonyms.

In grammar mistakes usually there are punctuation mistakes, specifically many people don’t use comma and some use comma in sentences but in wrong manner. The tip for avoiding grammar mistake is that always use small length sentences.

3. Read First Your Article before Submitting

Majority of writers don’t read their articles before submitting them. That’s why sometimes some mistakes regarding the article topic occurs, which leads your article to rejection. For example, you are writing article about solar energy, while in article unconsciously you kept on writing about heat of the sun. In this way you get far from the topic of the article and your article will become meaningless. Make it sure to read your article before submitting it. This helps you to correct your mistakes and your article after submission won’t be rejected.

4. Subheadings

Many of new writers start their articles with subheadings. Never use subheading right at start of the article. First always write a small introductory paragraph of the article after that give your subheadings.

5. Tips Regarding Re-Writing

When you start re-writing then just don’t follow the lines.  First understand that what’s written in the source article. When you will understand that, it will become easy for you to transfer it in your own words.
