How to Rewrite an Article and Make It Look Original

Tips and tricks in rewriting an article

1. Don’t stick to just one article as the source of information. Use at least two sources of information.

2. Make yourself an outline. Read through the article(s) and get the most important information that readers would love to know about the topic. Copy-paste parts of the original article, or make notes about the details. Arrange them in a way you want to present them to readers.

3. Create a catchy headlines for different parts of the article. Keep them short but ‘sweet,’ and make sure that you insert the main keyword here.

4. Keep your intro interesting. This is perhaps one of the biggest challenge as most readers would give this part a quick read.

5. Make the body of the article the meatiest part. If your intro is a teaser, then the body should give readers the full view. Get straight to the facts.

6. Wrap it up with a call to action. You can summarize the most important points or leave a note to persuade readers.

How to Rewrite Articles

  1. Always read the original article twice or thrice over until you have garnered sufficient information of its content. This will help you to re-write the article without referring to the original every now and then. Thus enabling you to sound original.
  2. Words after commas should be changed in their order.for ex: India, Japan and Korea are nuclear power-houses.Could be written as, The nuclear power-houses are Korea, India, and Japan.
  3. Do not imitate paragraph structures or orders. use them inter-changeably. when typing on word use the synonyms guide to help come up with new words. change sentences structure and formation instead of just words here and there.

Important Guidelines For Writers

Welcome to DEP writer’s dashboard. Following are the instructions for re-writing an article. Writers must read these points and follow them strictly before they start writing.

  • When you start working in the writing page, please  keep saving your work. Because, if it is left open for long time,(without saving work) the connection turns out, leaving the content box blank. So please save your work at word or somewhere else before you continue writing after a gap.
  • Never copy paste from MS word directly, because it cannot be saved in DEP’s content box without using ‘paste from word’ feature from toolbar. If you use this feature, then the content can be copied from word and pasted in DEP’s content box.
  • Your post should be at least of 350 words, else it will be rejected.
  • Never underline any word.
  • New title: is the post title (main heading) which is suggested by the editor in the instructions. You can write a post title of your own, but prefer using the suggested new title.
