Introducing Dynamic Pricing – Supply and Demand Driven Market

In order to make this business model more sustainable, we have made some changes to our article pricing and bonus awarding policy. We have been working on software implementation of this with our customers and engineers and finally we have rolled it out, yesterday night.

Instead of a fixed price for every article in DEP, We have introduced dynamic pricing of articles. Each article in pool will have a different price based on supply and demand of each topic at any given moment in time. It means that each time you re-load the pool of articles, the prices will be different for each article. Once you pick it up and assign it to yourself. the price at time of pickup will be paid to you.

This step was required to make sure that customer orders are completed on time. (the articles with recent deadlines will automatically be priced higher).

There is a slight change is bonus policy.  Instead of fixed bonus amount per article ,  we have decided that it should be increased as your  number of your submissions increase. i.e. 30 submissions in a month will get 10 Rs bonus per article. and 120 submissions will get you 20 Rs bonus per article etc. details will be communicated soon as we update our Website and this blog later this week.

Over 150% Increase in Article Prices

We got a good news for you today. For each article that you do for us, we will payout a minimum of 70/- Rs. per 500 word article re-written and if you happen to be an eager worker, we will provide you with a tempting bonus at the end of the month too, depending upon the target you select for yourself. click here for more details.

Now, I don’t see any reason why you can’t make 20,000 Rs. this march.

Laser Eye Surgery Prices

The laser eye surgery price varies widely upon a variety of factors. The location of the office where the procedure is performed is an important factor. The experience of the doctor that performs it is another one. The laser eye surgery price also varies upon the type of procedure that is being used.

Location

Laser eye surgery prices can depend a lot on the location of the eye care center where the surgery is being performed. As with all products and services, this variation has a lot to do with the idea of supply and demand. In a city where there are many eye clinics which can provide laser eye surgery, the prices may be lower for competitive reasons. If there are only a few clinics in the area, they can charge more, taking advantage of the fact that people are willing to pay a lot for receiving the treatment.

Doctor’s Experience

The experience of the surgeon who will be performing the procedure is also an important factor in determining laser eye surgery prices. A doctor still in the learning phase, even if high skilled, will usually charge less than a very experienced one. Many patients are willing to pay more to be treated by an experience physician who they can trust. Most people believe that quality is more important than price in this type of surgery.

Type of Procedure

Laser surgery prices depend most on the type of surgical procedure that the patient needs. Many patients with different eye conditions may need more specialized and therefore more expensive procedures. The average price for a basic LASIK procedure ranges between $1500 and $2000. Custom LASIK surgery usually costs much more. Generally, doctors charge additional an additional fee of $500 or more for a customized procedure. If the surgeon uses a 3-D map of the eye to observe all irregularities, the price can increase with about $1000, getting to a total cost of $2500 – $3000. Most insurance companies do not cover these procedures, so you should check with yours before choosing a certain type of laser eye surgery. Continue reading →
